얼마 전 와이프, 처형, 형님, 조카까지 총 5명이 함께 푸켓 여행을 다녀왔습니다.
평소 가족끼리 국내여행은 종종 갔지만 이렇게 다섯 명이 함께 해외여행을 간 것은 처음이라 출발 전부터 기대가 정말 컸습니다.
이번 여행에서 가장 기대했던 일정은 바로 피피섬 & 마야섬&뱀부섬 스노클링 투어였습니다.
한국에서 미리 예약을 하고 갔는데 결과부터 말하면 이번 푸켓 여행에서 두번째로 만족스러웠던 일정 중 하나였습니다.

Not long ago, I traveled to Phuket with my wife, my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law, and my nephew—five of us in total.
We often take domestic trips together as a family, but this was our first overseas trip with all five of us, so we were really excited even before departure.
The activity we were looking forward to the most was the Phi Phi Islands, Maya Bay, and Bamboo Island snorkeling tour.
We booked the tour in advance from Korea, and to share the conclusion first, it turned out to be one of the second most satisfying activities of our entire Phuket trip.

성인 4명과 조카까지 포함해서 예약을 완료했습니다.
현지에서도 예약이 가능하지만 성수기에는 자리가 없을 수도 있어서 한국에서 미리 예약하는 것을 추천드립니다.
특히 가족여행은 일정이 꼬이면 안 되기 때문에 사전예약이 훨씬 편했습니다.
Before our trip, we booked the Phi Phi Islands tour in advance.
The reservation included four adults and our nephew, and everything was arranged before departure.
While it's possible to book tours after arriving in Phuket, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance from Korea, especially during peak travel seasons when tours can sell out quickly.
For family trips in particular, keeping the schedule organized is important, so booking ahead made the entire experience much more convenient and stress-free.
아침 일찍 선착장에 도착하니 안전교육과 일정 설명이 진행되었습니다.
생각보다 체계적으로 운영되어서 안심이 되더라고요.
특히 조카가 함께 있어서 안전 부분이 신경 쓰였는데 직원분들이 친절하게 설명해 주셔서 걱정을 덜 수 있었습니다.
We arrived at the pier early in the morning, where a safety briefing and tour orientation were conducted.
The tour was much more organized and professional than we had expected, which immediately made us feel at ease.
Since we were traveling with our nephew, safety was one of our biggest concerns. Fortunately, the staff explained everything clearly and kindly, helping us feel much more comfortable and reassured throughout the experience.
구명조끼를 착용하고 스피드보트에 탑승했습니다.
보트 안은 에어컨도 나오고 좌석도 넉넉해서 생각보다 편했습니다.
조카는 처음 타보는 스피드보트라 그런지 출발 전부터 신나서 창밖만 계속 바라보고 있었습니다.
After putting on our life jackets, we boarded the speedboat.
The boat was equipped with air conditioning and had plenty of seating space, making the ride much more comfortable than we had expected.
Since it was our nephew’s first time riding a speedboat, he was excited from the very beginning and couldn’t stop looking out the window before we even set off. 🚤😊
본격적으로 바다 위를 달리기 시작했습니다.
보트가 속도를 내자 시원한 바닷바람과 함께 푸켓의 아름다운 섬들이 하나둘 보이기 시작했습니다.
이동 시간마저도 관광이라고 느껴질 정도였습니다.
We soon began speeding across the open sea.
As the boat picked up speed, the refreshing ocean breeze swept past us, and the beautiful islands surrounding Phuket gradually came into view one by one.
Even the travel time itself felt like part of the sightseeing experience, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations we were heading to. 🌊🚤☀️
첫 번째로 도착한 섬.
배에서 내리자마자 눈앞에 펼쳐진 바다 색깔에 모두가 놀랐습니다.
사진으로는 표현이 안 될 정도로 물빛이 투명했습니다.
와이프와 처형은 연신 사진을 찍느라 바빴고 형님도 풍경을 보며 감탄을 멈추지 못했습니다.
하얀 백사장과 맑은 바다.
정말 휴양지에 왔다는 느낌이 제대로 들었습니다.
가족사진도 찍고 조카와 함께 바닷가를 걸으며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.
이날 햇살이 강했지만 바닷바람 덕분에 생각보다 덥지 않았습니다.
This was the first island we arrived at during the tour.
The moment we stepped off the boat, everyone was amazed by the color of the sea stretching out before us.
The water was so crystal clear that photos simply couldn’t do it justice.
My wife and sister-in-law were busy taking photos nonstop, while my brother-in-law couldn’t stop admiring the breathtaking scenery around us.
The combination of the white sandy beach and the clear turquoise water truly made us feel like we were in a tropical paradise.
We took family photos, walked along the shoreline with our nephew, and spent some wonderful time together enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Although the sun was quite strong that day, the refreshing ocean breeze kept the weather much more comfortable than we had expected. ☀️🌊🏝️

자연이 만들어낸 거대한 예술 작품 같았습니다.
배를 타고 가까이 지나가는데 규모가 엄청나더라고요.
푸켓이나 피피섬 투어가 인기 있는 이유를 계속 실감하게 되는 순간이었습니다.
During the tour, we also stopped near a dramatic cliff and cave area, where we spotted a monkey sitting peacefully on the rocks.
The scenery looked like a gigantic work of art created by nature itself.
As our boat passed close by, we were amazed by the sheer scale of the towering cliffs and rock formations.
It was yet another moment that reminded us why Phuket and Phi Phi Island tours are so popular among travelers from around the world. The breathtaking landscapes seemed to appear around every corner, leaving us in awe throughout the journey. 🐒🏝️⛰️🚤
그리고 기다리던 스노클링 시간.
물속에 들어가자마자 수많은 열대어들이 우리 주변으로 몰려왔습니다.
조카는 처음 보는 물고기들에 너무 신나했고 저와 형님도 어린아이처럼 신나서 한참 동안 물속을 구경했습니다.
Then came the moment we had been waiting for—the snorkeling session.
As soon as we entered the water, countless tropical fish swam right up around us.
Our nephew was thrilled to see so many colorful fish for the very first time, and my brother-in-law and I were just as excited. Like little kids, we spent a long time exploring the underwater world and watching the fish swim around us.
The water was incredibly clear, making it easy to see the vibrant marine life below. It felt like swimming inside a giant natural aquarium, and it quickly became one of the most memorable moments of our Phuket trip. 🐠🌊🤿✨
바닷물이 정말 맑아서 물속 시야가 굉장히 좋았습니다.
저도 여러 나라에서 물놀이를 해봤지만 푸켓 피피섬 스노클링은 만족도가 상당히 높았습니다. 와이프와 처형은 제가 이렇게 끌고 다녔어요 ㅋㅋ
초보자들도 충분히 즐길 수 있을 정도로 안전하게 운영되고 있었습니다.
The seawater was incredibly clear, giving us excellent underwater visibility.
I've enjoyed water activities in several different countries, but the snorkeling experience around Phuket's Phi Phi Islands ranks among the best I've ever had.
My wife and sister-in-law were a little nervous at first, so I ended up towing them around in the water most of the time—haha! 😂
Even so, they quickly got comfortable and were able to enjoy the experience while taking in the beautiful underwater scenery.
The tour was operated very safely and professionally, making it suitable even for beginners with little or no snorkeling experience. Anyone can join with confidence and have a great time exploring the crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life. 🐠🤿🌊✨

조카도 여행이 끝난 뒤 가장 기억에 남는 순간으로 스노클링을 이야기하더라고요.
가족 모두가 만족한 일정이었습니다.
We had the chance to see beautiful coral reefs and a wide variety of colorful fish up close.
After the trip was over, our nephew said that snorkeling was his favorite part of the entire vacation and the moment he would remember the most.
Honestly, we all felt the same way.
It was an experience that brought excitement, fun, and unforgettable memories to everyone in the family.
Without a doubt, the snorkeling tour was one of the highlights of our Phuket trip and an activity that every member of our family thoroughly enjoyed. 🐠🤿🌊🏝️✨
이번 푸켓 여행은 단순한 관광 이상의 의미가 있었습니다.

This Phuket trip meant much more to us than just another vacation.
It was our first overseas trip together as a group of five—my wife, my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law, our nephew, and me.
The moments we spent laughing together, taking photos, and admiring the beautiful ocean views are memories that I believe will stay with us for a very long time.
